Dr. V. Genguswamy Naidu was the only son of the blessed couple, Sri V. Venkatasubba Naidu and Smt. B. V. Lakshmi Ammal. He was born on 4th October 1932 at Pethappampatti Village, Udumalpet Taluk, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu.
He pursued his higher education in Business Management Technology at the Philadelphia Institute of Technology, USA. Dr. V. Genguswamy Naidu married Smt. Raja Lakshmi, daughter of Sri G. V. Govinda Swamy Naidu, a renowned industrial magnate of Coimbatore.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions as an entrepreneur, practical educationist, and benevolent academician, Dr. V. Genguswamy Naidu was conferred with the Doctor of Literature degree on 25.05.1989 by the Monard University (Central Government).
He was also the shown interest and supporter of Tamil Nadu Kamma Naidu Mahajana Sangam and actively promoted sports and games, serving in leadership roles across several organizations. Considering his service, sincerity, and responsibilities towards society, he is truly remembered as a “Good Samaritan.”

As a Religious Personality
Dr. V. Genguswamy Naidu was widely known for his generous donations toward temple renovations and new temple constructions. His significant contributions were instrumental in the renovation of famous temples such as Srirangam Ranganatha Temple, Thiruvannamalai Temple, Thiruvaiyaru Temple, and Srivilliputhur Temple.
Through his charitable efforts, many new temples were also constructed in rural areas, reflecting his deep spiritual values and dedication to cultural heritage.
Service & Legacy
The entire family of Dr. V. Genguswamy Naidu has consistently dedicated itself to the upliftment of society and community development. His son,
Sri G. Ravindran Naidu, continues his legacy by carrying forward his vision and values, ensuring that his father’s noble causes are upheld and strengthened in the years to come.

A warm welcome to Dr. V. G. N. Nursery & Primary School. Though the institution is rooted in strong values and traditions, it embraces a vibrant, multi-cultural atmosphere where students from diverse backgrounds come together to learn and grow.

About the School
Dr. V. G. N. Nursery & Primary School was established in 1971 with the noble objective of serving the educational needs of the community and the general public, with a strong emphasis on education and charitable purposes.
The land for the school was purchased specifically for educational development, and the foundation stone for the school building was laid in 2003. The school began functioning in its newly constructed building from the year 2004.
The school is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu – State Education Department and offers classes from LKG to V Standard for children aged 3 years to 10 years.
